• The Recoh-tray is a heat exchanger for use in downstairs showers
• Capable of recovering upto 50% of heat that would nornally be lost down the drain when you shower
• Shortpay back period due to low initial outlay
• Save approx £125 (based on family of four) and between 300 - 1000kg CO₂ per annum (depending on shower usage and fuel type)
• The heat exchanger holds less than one litre, meaning that the exchanger starts working almost immediately after showering has started
• Straightforward, simple design which does not require pumps or controllers. Manufactured from copper, zero maintenance.

How it works

The system is designed to reduce energy consumption during domestic hot water usage. The hot water passes the heat exchanger on its way down the drain. Heat is exchanged with the water from the mains water en route, to both the water heater and the shower.
